Forming a 30-Day Challenge Team for March 2008

Hi everyone -

What I like best about this blog format for our member area is that it can take whatever shape we want it to via the categories.

This post, like all the others, will soon be replaced by new ones … but thanks to Wordpress’ categories feature (the menu with 30-day Challenge on the top), I can tag it to come back to the top with all of the other 30-day posts. How cool is that??

So I was talking to Noorul, who I often bump into on Gmail in the middle of the night, about how to move forward and form a 30-day team with the folks here who are interested in learning more about Internet marketing and niche blogging.

We came to the realization that there is an awful lot of pre-season information to be gleaned. Given that there is so much, we thought that aiming for a 30-day challenge to start in March would work.

I’m posting the link to the summary of pre-season posts so that we have a place to begin and find our way around the 30-day site.

See, the original 30-Day challenge that went with this training happened last summer (and hopefully will again next summer). What we’re doing now is following in the footsteps of others who have already made this work.

So if you’re curious or already have an interest, start working your way through the pre-season information and let us know that you’d like to join a team that’s starting the actual challenge in March 2008.

This is totally an optional activity … only if it’s interesting.

Hi Andrea!

I explored some of the pre season posts last night and it looks like it’s got great training in there for understanding and getting better results for marketing on the internet. I had to do a bit more digging to begin to understand the why behind it.
Could you explain a bit more about the 30 day challenge and it’s purpose?

Hi Trina -

THANKS for giving me a kick in the rear on this — YES it is a great opportunity to get up to speed with the new Web 2.0 internet marketing *ways*. Ed Dale (the host/teacher) is SO clear and easy to understand .. even for the newest of newbies.

The main goal of the 30-day challenge is to help anyone who wants to know how to market online via search engine to identify a niche for themselves that is not only possible to get into the search engines with (not overly marketed already), but that is also a “buying” market.

In that process, Ed introduces gobs of free tools and helps to streamline the online process by teaching us how to configure our browsers and use the tools that are available to our best advantage.

Does that sound like it in a nutshell to you?
